Certified Radiology Technologist - (RAD Tech)

This Radiologic Technologist position is based in the Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania area, a welcoming community nestled along the Allegheny River just northeast of Pittsburgh. The location offers a comfortable suburban lifestyle with easy access to both outdoor recreation and city amenities. The facility is a well-regarded regional healthcare provider serving the Allegheny Valley and surrounding communities. It features modern imaging suites and digital technology to support high-quality diagnostic services. Radiology is closely integrated with emergency medicine, surgery, primary care, and specialty services, providing a diverse and interesting caseload. You will be part of a supportive and collaborative imaging team that values professional growth, consistent imaging standards, and excellent patient care. In this role, the Radiologic Technologist will perform a full range of general diagnostic radiographic examinations for inpatient, outpatient, surgical, and emergency department populations. Typical studies include chest, extremities, spine, abdomen, orthopedic imaging, and fluoroscopy assistance. Daily responsibilities include verifying orders, preparing and positioning patients, setting appropriate technical factors, applying radiation safety principles, and ensuring high-quality images for accurate interpretation. You will work closely with radiologists, providers, and nursing staff to prioritize cases, accommodate add-on and urgent exams, and support smooth patient flow.
