Physical Therapist Assistant jobs in San Marcos, TX offer a 13-week contract with 5 eight-hour day shifts each week in an outpatient clinic. You must have at least 1 year of outpatient experience and an active Texas license. The clinic serves an orthopedic population with high complexity and co-morbidities, and you will work alongside OT, PT, and SLP disciplines, seeing more neuro cases. Expect 11 to 13 visits per day. Your responsibilities include assisting physical therapists in providing therapy treatments and procedures, helping patients perform exercises, observing and reporting patient progress, and documenting treatments. You will educate patients and families, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team1.
