School-Based Occupational Therapist job in Yreka, California. Support students from PreK through 12th grade with a caseload of approximately 45 to 55 students. This assignment runs from August 3, 2026 to June 4, 2027, with a Monday to Friday schedule and 37.5 hours per week. You are paid only for hours worked; school holidays, teacher workdays, and closures due to workshops or inclement weather are unpaid. Your responsibilities include evaluating students, developing individualized therapy plans, implementing interventions, and collaborating with district staff. Participation in IEP meetings and accurate documentation using SEIS are required. SEIS experience is mandatory for this role. Required Qualifications
Occupational Therapist, School
Licenses: OT-CA
Certifications: OTR-National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy

Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
Active Occupational Therapy (OT) license in California



Preferred Qualifications
Initial certification through NBCOT
Clear, articulate communication skills
Ability to explain results to a varied audience
Candidates with previous school experience a plus!
Completion of a criminal record and background check
