Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) jobs in Sioux Falls, SD offer you the chance to work with adults and students facing communication and swallowing challenges in a supportive, collaborative environment. In this role, you will assess, develop, and implement personalized treatment plans, track patient progress, and adjust therapy as needed. You may also have opportunities to provide education to patients and families, participate in interprofessional care teams, and use advanced therapy techniques such as neuromuscular electrical stimulation and expiratory muscle strength training. Typical patient populations include those recovering from stroke, traumatic brain injury, and neurological conditions, with an average length of stay around two weeks. To qualify, you need current state licensure or certification, successful completion of the SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC), and CPR certification. A master’s degree is preferred, but a bachelor’s degree with field experience is also considered. This position values compassion, adaptability, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
