StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 10 D/E/N Pay Rate: $2660.00 - $2742.00
This 13-week interventional radiology technologist opportunity is located in the coastal community of Jupiter, Florida, a highly desirable destination known for its relaxed beachfront lifestyle and vibrant outdoor scene. Jupiter offers miles of pristine Atlantic beaches, the iconic Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse, lush parks, and scenic waterways ideal for boating, kayaking, and paddleboarding. You’ll enjoy a small-town coastal feel with easy access to the cultural amenities, shopping, and dining of nearby West Palm Beach and the greater South Florida region. The facility features a modern interventional radiology department with advanced imaging technology to support a wide range of procedures. You will work as part of a collaborative and experienced team of interventional radiologists, nurses, and technologists committed to high-quality, patient-centered care. The environment is professional, supportive, and well-organized, offering an excellent setting for technologists who thrive in a structured yet dynamic procedural area. In this role, you will support a variety of interventional radiology cases with a strong emphasis on neuro procedures. Typical responsibilities include preparing procedure rooms, setting up and operating fluoroscopic and angiographic equipment, assisting physicians during image-guided interventions, maintaining strict sterile technique, and ensuring accurate imaging documentation. You will be expected to safely position patients, select appropriate imaging parameters, follow radiation safety standards, and collaborate closely with the care team throughout each case. The typical schedule is four 10-hour shifts per week (4x10), with weekends required as part of the department’s coverage model. The role includes participation in an on-call rotation to support urgent and emergent IR procedures; candidates should be comfortable responding promptly during call hours and managing after-hours cases. The expected workload is approximately 40 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours based on department needs and case volume. You can anticipate working with a diverse adult patient population, including high-acuity and neurovascular patients. A typical day may include assisting with angiograms, angioplasties, stent placements, embolizations, drain placements, and neuro interventional procedures. The department emphasizes efficiency and teamwork, with clear communication and coordinated workflows to support smooth case turnover and safe patient care. Outside of work, Jupiter offers plenty of ways to unwind and enjoy your assignment. The area is known for its beautiful beaches, scenic coastal trails, and nearby state parks that are perfect for hiking, biking, and wildlife viewing. Waterfront dining, fresh seafood, and a variety of local restaurants and cafes make it easy to explore the local culinary scene. Whether you prefer laid-back beach days, outdoor adventure, or quick trips to nearby cities, Jupiter provides a well-balanced lifestyle that many travelers find appealing.
