A typical day may involve managing a caseload of scheduled outpatient visits, documenting thoroughly in the electronic medical record, coordinating care with physicians and other providers, and communicating progress and goals clearly to patients and their families. Patient volumes and scheduling are designed to support high-quality, individualized care, with an emphasis on continuity of treatment and measurable outcomes.
