Pediatric experience and 1-3 years of related work experience are preferred, along with knowledge of invasive procedure protocols and equipment. The schedule is full-time days with rotating holidays, on-call, and weekend coverage. • LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist (RCIS) required within 6 months of hire.
• CPR Training required and/or must be obtained within 45 days of hire.
• PALS and ACLS certification required and/or must be obtained and maintained within 12 months of hire.
• MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• Completion of an accredited Cardiac Technology program, Associate, or Baccalaureate program in health science required.
• 1-3 years related work experience preferred.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Knowledge and skill in invasive procedures protocols, equipment and instrumentation specific to cardiac invasive procedures preferred.
• Interpersonal skills necessary for effective communication with physicians, nursing personnel, clinicians, other support staff, patients, and families.
• Demonstrates the skill set to work independently.
• Ability to accommodate after hour call coverage.
• Must provide record of a completed diploma (or equivalent) or academic transcript for those areas performing complexity testing
