his outpatient Physical Therapist position is based in Cobble Hill, a picturesque and historic neighborhood in northwestern Brooklyn, New York. Cobble Hill is known for its charming tree-lined streets, classic brownstones, and a welcoming, community-oriented atmosphere. It offers an ideal blend of city energy and neighborhood warmth, with cafes, boutiques, bookstores, and restaurants all within easy walking distance. The area is just minutes from Brooklyn Bridge Park and the waterfront, providing stunning views of Manhattan, plentiful green space, and miles of walking and biking paths. Cobble Hill’s central Brooklyn location provides convenient access to nearby neighborhoods such as Brooklyn Heights, Boerum Hill, Carroll Gardens, and Downtown Brooklyn. Public transit options are excellent, with multiple subway lines and bus routes offering quick, direct commutes to Manhattan and other parts of New York City. For those who enjoy arts and culture, museums, galleries, music venues, and theaters throughout Brooklyn and Manhattan are easily accessible. The neighborhood’s combination of historic character, modern amenities, and walkability makes it an especially appealing place to work and spend time before or after your shift. In this role, you will practice in a modern outpatient clinic environment with a focus on high-quality, evidence-based care. The clinic is part of a large, established therapy network known for professional growth, strong clinical support, and a collaborative culture. You can expect well-equipped treatment spaces, contemporary therapy equipment, and an organized workflow that supports both exceptional patient outcomes and a positive clinician experience. Typical responsibilities include performing comprehensive evaluations, developing individualized plans of care, and delivering one-on-one or closely supervised treatment sessions for a primarily orthopedic caseload. Common diagnoses include post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, spine and joint conditions, overuse injuries, and general musculoskeletal issues. You will also provide patient and family education, coordinate care with other providers as needed, and monitor progress through outcome measures and re-evaluations. A typical day may involve a mix of new evaluations and follow-up visits, with patient care scheduled throughout your shift. Patient volume is designed to allow for attentive, hands-on care while maintaining a steady, efficient clinic flow. You will collaborate closely with other physical therapists, physical therapist assistants (if utilized), and support staff to ensure an organized, patient-friendly environment. Electronic medical records are used for documentation, scheduling, and communication within the clinic. Shifts are generally daytime and weekday-focused, with some clinics offering early morning or early evening hours to accommodate patient schedules. Full-time clinicians can expect a consistent weekly schedule. The setting is suitable for clinicians who enjoy working in a dynamic, urban outpatient environment and who appreciate having a variety of patient presentations throughout the week. This position is well-suited for a Physical Therapist seeking to build or expand their outpatient orthopedic skill set in a vibrant Brooklyn neighborhood. The role offers the chance to be part of a supportive, growth-oriented clinic team, treat a diverse and motivated patient population, and enjoy working in one of New York City’s most appealing and walkable communities.
