This Physical Therapist Assistant position is based in beautiful Naples, Florida, a coastal community on the Gulf of Mexico known for its stunning white-sand beaches, clear waters, and breathtaking sunsets. As a Physical Therapist Assistant in this setting, you will work under the direction and supervision of licensed physical therapists, helping to implement treatment plans and progress patients safely and effectively. Typical responsibilities include guiding patients through therapeutic exercises and functional activities, performing interventions and modalities within the PTA scope of practice, monitoring patient responses, and providing clear education on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies. You will also participate in patient scheduling, documentation, and communication with the care team, ensuring continuity and quality of care. A typical day includes a steady outpatient caseload with opportunities to see a range of diagnoses and ages, from active retirees and working professionals to student athletes. Patient volumes and schedules are designed to support thorough, personalized care while maintaining clinic efficiency. The clinic’s treatment areas are equipped with updated therapy equipment, exercise tools, and technology to support advanced rehabilitation techniques.
