This 13-week temp-direct Physical Therapist opportunity is based in Kennesaw, Georgia, a vibrant and growing community just northwest of Atlanta. The city is known for its safe neighborhoods, strong community spirit, and easy access to outdoor recreation, including hiking and scenic views at Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park, as well as numerous local parks, trails, and family-friendly activities. The position is in an outpatient orthopedic-focused clinic setting, where you will join a tight-knit team that includes three seasoned therapists. The clinic emphasizes high-quality, patient-centered care and a supportive, collaborative environment where clinicians can share knowledge and refine their skills. The caseload is orthopedic heavy, offering a strong mix of post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, spine care, and general musculoskeletal conditions—ideal for clinicians who want to deepen their orthopedic expertise and build a strong resume in a focused outpatient environment. You can expect to treat approximately 12 patient visits per day, allowing for meaningful one-on-one interactions while maintaining a steady, manageable schedule. Full-time hours are structured as 5 eight-hour day shifts (5:8s), totaling about 40 hours per week. This schedule provides consistency and work-life balance, with predictable daytime shifts and no on-call responsibilities. A typical day in this clinic includes performing thorough patient evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, implementing evidence-based interventions, and tracking progress through electronic documentation. You will collaborate with other therapists and staff, contribute to a positive clinic culture, and help patients achieve functional goals that are important to their daily lives and activities. The orthopedic focus and established patient volume offer robust opportunities to strengthen manual therapy skills, refine clinical reasoning, and gain valuable experience with a wide range of musculoskeletal cases.
