This 13-week outpatient Occupational Therapist opportunity is located in beautiful West Palm Beach, Florida, offering a blend of coastal living and vibrant city life. Typical responsibilities include performing comprehensive evaluations, identifying functional limitations, creating individualized treatment plans, implementing evidence-based interventions, and regularly reassessing progress to adjust goals and plans of care. You will focus on restoring function, improving independence in activities of daily living, enhancing safety, and supporting return-to-work or community reintegration when appropriate. A typical day includes a consistent schedule of adult patients with a variety of diagnoses such as orthopedic conditions, neurologic impairments, post-surgical cases, and chronic conditions affecting functional mobility and self-care. You will manage a reasonable caseload designed to allow thorough assessments, skilled treatment sessions, and timely documentation. Collaboration with other rehabilitation and medical professionals is an integral part of the role, helping to ensure coordinated, holistic care for each patient. This position is structured as a temp direct assignment over 13 weeks, with an expected 40 hours per week and a schedule of five eight-hour day shifts. There is no on-call requirement, allowing for a stable work-life balance and predictable hours so you can enjoy all that West Palm Beach has to offer.
