In this role, you will be an integral member of the surgical services team, focusing on intraoperative imaging in a busy operating room environment. You will support a variety of surgical cases with mobile C-arms and fluoroscopy, ensuring that high-quality images are available to guide surgeons in real time. You can expect to collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other allied health professionals, contributing to safe, efficient, and precise patient care. Typical responsibilities in this position include preparing and positioning imaging equipment prior to procedures, ensuring appropriate radiation safety and shielding, assisting with intraoperative imaging during orthopedic, vascular, spine, trauma, and other surgeries, and documenting and archiving images in the facility’s PACS. You will help maintain sterile technique in coordination with the OR team, verify patient identity and procedure details, and respond rapidly to changing needs during active cases. The work is hands-on, fast-paced, and highly collaborative, with a focus on accuracy, safety, and clear communication. The operating room environment offers exposure to a broad surgical caseload, which is ideal for those seeking to build their skill set and strengthen their resume. You may work across multiple OR suites with structured patient assignments designed to balance workload and support teamwork. Patient volumes are carefully managed to promote quality care while maintaining efficiency, and the imaging team works in close partnership with perioperative staff to ensure smooth case progression. Multiple shift options are available, which may include day, evening, night, and weekend coverage depending on surgical schedules and staffing needs. This flexibility allows you to find a shift pattern that aligns with your preferences and lifestyle while still providing essential coverage for elective and emergent procedures. Required Qualifications
Certified Radiology Technologist, Radiology Experience: 2 years Certifications: R-American Registry of Radiologic Technologists; BLS-AHA On Call: 2 call weekends with a minimum of 8 total calls assigned per contract length. Additional call can be picked up at will. References: 1 Reference in entire work history EPIC and Sectra PACS
