This Physical Therapist opportunity is a 13-week Temp Direct assignment in a Skilled Nursing Facility located in Burlington, North Carolina. The position offers a stable daytime schedule of five 8-hour day shifts, with an expected 40 hours per week and weekly billing/pay cycles. There is no on-call requirement, allowing you to enjoy a predictable work-life balance throughout the contract. In this SNF-based role, you will provide comprehensive physical therapy services to an adult and geriatric population, including both short-term rehab patients and long-term residents. A typical day includes performing thorough evaluations, creating individualized plans of care, and delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions focused on improving mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence. You will participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, collaborate closely with nursing and other therapy disciplines, and contribute to discharge planning to ensure safe transitions of care. Patient caseload will primarily consist of individuals recovering from surgery, orthopedic procedures, neurologic events, and medical conditions commonly treated in post-acute settings. You can expect to work in a structured environment with established documentation systems and supportive staff. The facility environment is designed to promote resident comfort and safety, with therapy spaces equipped to support functional training and rehabilitation activities.
