Job Description & Requirements
Physical Therapist - Outpatient - (PT)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 D Pay Rate: $2219.00 - $2287.00

This outpatient Physical Therapist role is based in a well-established clinic in Glen Burnie, Maryland, a community known for its convenient location and welcoming, suburban feel. Glen Burnie offers easy access to the excitement of Baltimore, the historic charm of Annapolis, and the natural beauty of the Chesapeake Bay. Residents enjoy nearby parks and trails, local shopping and dining, and a variety of family-friendly recreational activities, with additional cultural, dining, and waterfront attractions just a short drive away. The area combines accessibility to major urban amenities with a relaxed, community-oriented lifestyle. The clinic provides a professional, patient-focused environment designed for high-quality outpatient care. Treatment spaces are organized and well-equipped, supporting a wide range of therapeutic exercises and interventions. The team culture emphasizes collaboration and communication, with therapists working closely with support staff to maintain a smooth daily flow, efficient scheduling, and attentive patient service. The atmosphere is geared toward continuous learning and clinical excellence, making it a strong setting for professional growth in outpatient physical therapy. In this role, you will deliver comprehensive evaluations and individualized treatment plans for adult patients presenting with orthopedic, musculoskeletal, and post-surgical conditions. You will use evidence-based interventions, including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and functional training, to help patients reduce pain, restore function, and return to daily activities or recreational pursuits. Clear, timely documentation and communication with referring providers are important parts of this position, as is educating patients on home programs and self-management strategies. The position follows a Monday through Friday daytime schedule, offering consistent hours without required evening or weekend shifts. A typical day involves managing an average of 12–14 patients, allowing for focused, one-on-one interaction while maintaining an efficient, steady workflow. You will work in coordination with front office and support staff to ensure appropriate scheduling, smooth transitions between appointments, and responsiveness to patient needs throughout the visit. Patient care is delivered in a structured outpatient setting where quality and outcomes are prioritized. You will see a mix of diagnoses that may include post-operative joint replacements, ligament repairs, spinal conditions, overuse injuries, acute sports-related injuries, and general deconditioning. The variety of cases provides opportunities to deepen clinical skills and pursue areas of interest within outpatient practice. The environment supports therapists who are motivated to refine their expertise, contribute to a positive clinic culture, and provide meaningful, hands-on care to the local community.
