This outpatient Physical Therapist opportunity is based in Upper Saddle River, New Jersey, a highly desirable suburban community known for its peaceful, upscale neighborhoods, excellent schools, and strong sense of community. In this role, you can expect a primarily orthopedic and sports-focused caseload, including post-operative patients, acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, work-related injuries, and return-to-sport rehabilitation. Typical patients range from active adolescents and adults to high-functioning older adults seeking to maintain mobility and independence. Therapists generally carry a manageable caseload that supports a balance between productivity and quality of care, with scheduling designed to allow thorough evaluations and individualized treatment sessions. Daily responsibilities include performing comprehensive evaluations, developing and progressing evidence-based plans of care, providing manual therapy and therapeutic exercise interventions, educating patients and families, and coordinating with referring providers and other members of the healthcare team. You will document care using an electronic medical record system, participate in team meetings and case conferences, and contribute to program development and quality improvement initiatives as needed. Shifts are typically daytime, weekday hours, with some flexibility depending on clinic needs and patient demand. There may be occasional early evening coverage to accommodate working patients. The schedule supports a predictable routine while still allowing for adaptability in patient scheduling. This position is well-suited for a clinician who is motivated, team-oriented, and passionate about helping patients achieve functional goals in a supportive, high-performing outpatient environment.
