About the Facility
This nonprofit, 25-bed hospital has proudly served the Greater Hermiston region since opening its doors in 1954. The medical center is the largest facility in the Good Shepherd Healthcare System, which provides care for patients throughout northeast Oregon. The fully accredited hospital boasts state-of-the-art medical technology and a wide range of services, including medical/surgical, OB/GYN, and critical care. The Level III emergency department offers services 24 hours a day.
Facility Location
Located just south of the Columbia River and Lake Wallula, Hermiston offers much in the way of natural splendor and outdoors recreation to residents and visitors. Hat Rock is a popular sight for tourists, revered for being one of the first landmarks described by Lewis and Clark. The city hosts a number of annual events that draw people from all across the state, including the Umatilla County Fair and the Farm City Pro Rodeo.
