Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist (Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist) in Margate, Florida. This role involves supporting a busy Cath Lab unit with procedures such as cardiac catheterizations, cerebella angiograms, stents, and balloons. Job Details:

• Location: Margate, Florida
• Schedule: Day Shift, Evening Shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); Education: appropriate radiologic technologist credential; Experience: none specified; Location: Florida; Years of Experience: 0 years
• Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with Registration in Cardiovascular Interventional Specialty (RCIS) will be considered first
• Unit Information: Cath Lab with 4 rooms, 1 patient per room, staffing includes 22 members comprising RNs and Technicians, with a 1:1 patient ratio.
• Typical Procedures Performed: Cardiac catheterization, cerebella angiograms, stent placements, balloon procedures.
• Responsibilities: Competency in special procedures and GE Innova imaging equipment, adherence to dress codes, flexibility for frequent on-call scheduling, and teamwork are essential.
• Additional Information: On-call is frequent, and flexibility is required to meet the needs of the unit. Dress code includes unit scrubs, with restrictions on attire (no red or gray in Cath and EP labs).
