Description
Job Summary:
Physical Therapist (Inpatient) in California this position is located in a busy post-acute facility with 165 beds. The role involves providing inpatient physical therapy services, with candidates required to bring their license on the first day. Candidates should have at least two years of experience as they will be the sole Physical Therapist (PT) on staff. The position begins on June 8, 2026, with an expected end date of September 12, 2026, and requires a June start date.
Job Details:
- Shift: Days, 8 hours per shift
- Schedule: June 8, 2026 to September 12, 2026, 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid California state license; minimum 2 years of inpatient physical therapy experience; BLS certification; WA and AZ licenses are compact eligible; HI, ID, and CA licenses held.
- Preferred Qualifications: Extensive inpatient trauma facility experience, strong orthopedic and geriatric background, proficiency with WEB PT and EPIC documentation systems, current COVID-19 vaccination and flu shot, Doctorate Degree.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Candidates must have experience with Point Click Care electronic health record documentation. The facility is very busy, requiring quick onboarding and the ability to work independently as the only PT on staff.
