Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) position in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This role involves providing inpatient physical therapy services to adult and geriatric patient populations. The position offers daytime shifts and a focus on a variety of therapeutic procedures within a busy hospital setting.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week, start date 08/03/2026
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), license as a Physical Therapist (pending NM license with an estimated 3-week ETA), 1 year of experience in physical therapy, no additional experience minimum specified
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with inpatient settings, patient assessment, treatment planning, and familiarity with therapy equipment and procedures such as gait training, therapeutic exercises, and functional mobility
• Additional Information: The role involves working with adult and geriatric patients, managing a daily census of approximately 175, and performing multiple patient visits per day. Travelers will be expected to float to similar units based on facility needs and will receive brief unit orientation. All hours during orientation are completed onsite and recorded via transcripts. Candidates must go in for labs within 48 business hours after contract signing unless foreseen delays are communicated; pending licenses must be obtained prior to start.
