Description

Job Summary:
Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist position in Lawrenceville, Georgia. This role involves performing and assisting with advanced cardiovascular procedures in a high-volume cardiac catheterization laboratory. The candidate will support procedures such as left heart catheterizations, high-risk percutaneous coronary interventions, right heart catheterizations, pacemaker insertions, peripheral interventions, and structural heart procedures within the cardiovascular specialty.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, Monday through Friday, from 6:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m., with a minimum of 40 hours per week. The assignment length is approximately 13 weeks.
  • Required Qualifications:
    • Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in cardiac catheterization laboratory procedures.
    • Structural Heart and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) experience required.
    • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
    • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialists (RCIS).
    • Associate degree in health science or completion of an accredited Technology program such as cardiovascular technologist or radiology.
    • Minimum 2-4 years of interventional/diagnostic experience within the specialty.
    • Cath lab experience is mandatory.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • No additional preferred qualifications listed.
  • Additional Information:
    • Candidate must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the local facility.
    • The position requires responsibility for all procedures including but not limited to: Left Heart Catheterization, High-Risk Percutaneous Coronary Intervention, Right Heart Catheterization, Pacemaker placements, Peripheral Procedures, Structural Heart interventions, ECMO, and Ekos procedures.
