Description

Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist for a facility located in Louisville, Kentucky. The role involves working in a cardiac catheterization laboratory environment, performing Scrub and Monitor Cath procedures, and supporting various cardiovascular interventions. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

  • Required Qualifications: Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and either American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification. A valid state license is also required.
  • Experience: 2 years of relevant experience in a similar environment.
  • Schedule: Every 6 weeks with scheduled weekend rotation (call only), 1-2 overnight call shifts per week, and 1-2 weekends of call in a 6-week schedule, with a 30-minute response time.
  • Orientation: 4-5 days of facility and unit orientation.
  • Additional Information: Support may be provided in the electrophysiology (EP) lab; orientation including facility and unit training is included. Parking is free with badge access to the parking garage.
  • Professional Support: Includes Nurse Manager, charge staff, nurses, hospitalists, intensivists, nurse practitioners, fellows, and cardiologists.
  • Technology/Equipment: EMR system Cerner, Alaris IV Pumps, OmniCell medication dispensing system, McKesson Hemodynamic System, GE and Siemens C-arms.
  • Float: Possibly to the EP Lab based on unit needs.
  • Scrub Color: Provided.
