Description
Job Summary:
The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist position is located in Louisville, Kentucky. This role involves working within a dedicated heart hospital's catheterization laboratory, supporting cardiac procedures and patient care. The position offers an opportunity to be part of a specialized team providing high-level cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional services.
Job Details:
- Shift Time: Days
- Shift Hours: 12 hours
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
- Start Date: 08/24/2026
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS; acceptable certifications include ARRT or RCIS
- Required Qualifications: 2 years of experience, current state license, certification in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, skills in scrubbing and monitoring cardiac catheterization procedures and pulmonary embolism support
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with hemodynamic systems, C-arms from GE and Siemens, and proficiency with EMR systems such as Cerner
- Float: Possibly to Electrophysiology (EP) Lab
- Orientation: 4-5 days of facility and unit orientation
- Scheduling:
- Weekend rotation: call only (see details below)
- On call: 1-2 overnight shifts per week, 1-2 weekends of call in a 6-week schedule, with a 30-minute response time
- Holiday expectations based on unit needs
- Shift times: 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM
- Schedule cycle: Every 6 weeks, utilized to fill scheduling gaps
- Additional Notes:
- Scrub color: Provided
