Description

Job Summary:
Radiologic Technologist specializing in computed tomography (CT) imaging in Augusta, Georgia. This position involves performing CT scans with a focus on patient positioning, radiation safety, and image quality. The role requires effective communication with patients, staff, and physicians, along with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shifts, 3 x 12-hour shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM.
  • Required Qualifications: All certifications are required upon hire, including ARRT-R (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), and BLS (Basic Life Support). Minimum of 1 year of experience in radiology, with less than 1 year in CT preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with CT procedures, patient positioning, and radiation protection. Strong communication skills and ability to multitask in a stressful environment.
  • Additional Information: The contract begins after 05/23/2026. The candidate must be capable of performing all aspects of CT, including quality control tests, and should possess an understanding of anatomy and pathology as it affects imaging quality.
