Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) in a pediatric healthcare environment. This position involves providing specialized respiratory care to neonatal, pediatric, and high-risk patient populations across various clinical settings. The clinician will be responsible for implementing respiratory therapy procedures, monitoring patient status, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift with 12 hours per shift and a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Driver's License or State ID, completion of UHS Skills Checklist, UHS Submission Packet, and UHS Prior Employment Form. Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is preferred; candidates with less may be considered.
• Additional Information: The role involves working in multiple units including Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit, and emergency departments. Responsibilities include managing airway clearance therapies, ventilator management, medication administration, patient education, and ventilator system checks. The clinician must interface regularly with attending physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and other multidisciplinary team members. Equipment cleaning and troubleshooting are also essential parts of daily responsibilities.
