Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Physical Therapist (Inpatient) for an acute rehabilitation unit located in Fort Mohave, Arizona. The role involves providing therapy services to a diverse patient population, including individuals with strokes, hip fractures, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and other complex conditions. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Fort Mohave, Arizona
• Shift: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
• Required Qualifications: Masters Degree in Physical Therapy, Licensure in the state of Arizona, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, open to new graduates and beyond, with zero years of experience required
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified
• Float: Float to evaluate and treat medical-surgical and intensive care unit patients as needed
• Additional Information:
  • Patient ratios of 6:1
  • No weekend call requirements
  • EMR systems include Medhost and NetHealth (Redoc)
  • Typical diagnoses/treatments involve strokes, hip fractures, debility, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injuries, motor vehicle accidents, Parkinsons disease, and multiple sclerosis
  • Candidates should be patient-centered, team-oriented, communicate well, and be team players
