The physical therapist home health professional position is located in Virginia. The role involves performing patient evaluations and providing therapeutic services according to physicians' orders within a home health setting. The therapist will operate on an 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week, covering the Northern Neck territory.

Job Details

• Shift Hours: 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday
• Schedule: Standard daytime shift
• Required Qualifications:
  • Completion of a physical therapy program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or equivalent accrediting body
  • Current, unrestricted license to practice physical therapy in the specified state
  • 0 or more years of experience in physical therapy (preferred 2-3 years)
  • Current CPR certification
  • Familiarity with general computer functions such as navigation, internet, email, and online training platforms

• Additional Responsibilities: Deliver therapy services as directed by physicians, evaluate patient home environments, coordinate care plans, and collaborate with other healthcare personnel. Must have reliable transportation, a valid drivers license, and agency-required liability insurance.
• Travel: Approximately 200 miles per week within the Northern Neck territory in Virginia, utilizing the HCHB electronic medical record system.
