Description
Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Outpatient working in Chesapeake, Virginia. This contract position involves treating patients with various musculoskeletal injuries in an outpatient clinic setting. The role requires collaboration with a team of therapists and communication with medical professionals regarding patient progress and treatment plans.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy, current license for the state of Virginia, 2 years of experience practicing as a physical therapist, experience treating sprains, strains, and fractures, and outpatient orthopedic experience ranging from 1 year.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience treating 14-16 patients per day, manual therapy techniques, and strong communication skills with medical teams.
- Additional Information: Contract provides an opportunity to evaluate and treat patients with diverse musculoskeletal injuries, working alongside a team of healthcare providers. The successful candidate will evaluate patients, communicate treatment plans effectively, and report patient progress to physicians and specialists.
