Description
Job Summary:
A CT Technologist position is available in Laredo, Texas. The candidate will be responsible for providing diagnostic imaging services in a hospital setting, performing routine CT scans and other imaging procedures under departmental protocols. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Location: Laredo, Texas
- Shift: Days, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Schedule: 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certified as a CT Technologist, with a graduate degree from an accredited AMA school, ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technology) registration, TMB (Texas Medical Board) license, and BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. At least 2 years of experience in CT scanning. Valid permanent home address and Social Security Number must be included in the submission.
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The CT Technologist is responsible for performing basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable and C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services. Proficiency in routine diagnostic CT scanning of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures is expected. Knowledge of CT system processing, surgical/sterile procedures, and studies with or without contrast media is required.
- Submission Requirements: Must include permanent home address and SS number on the submission.
- Age of Traveler: Greater than 50 miles from the facility.
