Description
Job Description
As a cardiac cath lab technologist in interventional radiology, you'll assist the physician with catheterization of the heart and other minimally invasive procedures. Working in an operating room, cardiac Cath lab or similar healthcare facility, you'll prepare equipment, assist surgeons, monitor patient vitals, help maintain sterile conditions and more. You might care for patients undergoing angioplasty, ablation, embolization, stenting, thrombolysis or biopsies.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in interventional radiology
- ARRT Certification
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- Current state license
