Description
Job Summary:
Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography (CT) located in Washington, District of Columbia. This position requires a highly skilled professional to operate CT and radiographic equipment, assist physicians during procedures, and ensure high-quality imaging while adhering to safety protocols. The role is scheduled for night shifts, with three 12-hour shifts per week, starting August 31, 2026.
Job Details:
- Shift: Night shift, 12 hours per day, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (AART), current State/District license, Associate's Degree or equivalent from an approved Radiologic Technology program, at least 2 years of experience with trauma and stroke cases, BLS certification, Cerner experience required
- Responsibilities: Operate Computed Tomography (CT) and radiographic equipment, review physician orders, adjust technical factors based on analysis of body habitus, position patients correctly, review clinical data, procure high-quality radiographs, reduce unnecessary radiation exposure, assist physicians during procedures including room preparation and contrast reagent management, schedule and complete exams, ensure proper charge entry
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with trauma and stroke cases in a high-volume clinical setting
