Description
Job Summary:
An experienced CT Technologist position is available in Washington, District of Columbia. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role involves operating Computed Tomography (CT) and radiographic equipment, reviewing physicians' orders, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality imaging while minimizing radiation exposure. The shift is scheduled for day hours, with a 12-hour shift duration.
Job Details:
- Location: Washington, District of Columbia
- Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS); certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART); current State or District of Columbia license; Associate's Degree or equivalent; completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program; at least 2 years of experience with trauma and stroke cases; Cerner experience

- Responsibilities include: operating Computed Tomography (CT) and radiographic equipment, adjusting technical factors based on analyzer body habitus, positioning patients, reviewing physician orders, obtaining pertinent clinical data, assisting physicians during procedures, preparing rooms, managing contrast reactions and codes, scheduling exams, and entering correct charge codes
- Additional Information: Candidates must be able to operate equipment accurately and efficiently, assist during procedures, and handle clinical data appropriately
