Description
Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Registered Electroencephalogram (EEG) Technologist for assignments in Anchorage, Alaska. This role involves providing specialized EEG services, including adult intensive care unit (ICU) and ambulatory EEG procedures, with responsibilities that may extend to emergency department, trauma, long-term monitoring, and seizure studies. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 3x12 variable shifts.
- Required Qualifications: Certification in EEG Technology, BLS (Basic Life Support), current licensure as a Registered EEG Technologist, with at least 0 years of experience and no minimum experience requirement. Candidate must have completed a minimum of 36 hours per week and be available to start on 06/29/2026.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult ICU, ambulatory EEG, ECI Brain Death, electrode placement, emergency department procedures, EMG, Level 1 Trauma, long-term and video monitoring, NICU, PICU, portable recording, seizure studies, sleep-deprived EEG, sleep EEG, portable recording ICU, NICU, and PICU.
- Additional Information: Candidate must have a permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility. References: Two references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years, which may include Charge RNs or Leads. Candidate must be willing to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year.
- Certifications: BLS and R. EEG T (Registered EEG Technologist).
- Vaccinations: Hep B vaccine (must be documented; titers or declinations are not accepted).
