Description
Job Summary
A CT Technologist position is available at a healthcare facility in an unspecified location. This role involves providing diagnostic patient care services and operating imaging equipment across multiple Radiology modalities. The technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic examinations, maintaining department operations, and adhering to safety and quality standards. The position offers an opportunity to work independently in a dynamic environment with a focus on patient safety and quality care.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: High School Equivalent / GED; Associate's Degree or completion of an accredited 2-year program in Radiologic Technology; meet education requirement for CT modality; 1+ years experience in a Radiology modality and completion of second modality orientation; current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification; certification by the ARRT, NMTCB, or ARDMS in at least one modality; licensed by the state of Ohio.

- Additional Information: The ideal candidate will demonstrate effective organizational, written, and oral communication skills; comprehensive knowledge of all equipment used in the CT specialty; ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems; familiarity with PACS, Electronic Medical Records (EMR), and Radiology Information System (RIS). Candidate must maintain licensure and continuing education requirements, and comply with all departmental policies and standards.
