Job Summary
The organization is seeking a Registered EEG Technologist for a position located in Asheville, North Carolina. The role involves providing electroencephalogram (EEG) testing in a clinical neurophysiology laboratory, supporting neonatal, pediatric, and adult patient care. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.
Job Details
- Location: Asheville, North Carolina
- Unit Information: Clinical Neurophysiology Laboratory, providing inpatient (IP) and outpatient (OP) EEG coverage including Neonatal, Pediatric, and Adult services.
- Number of Staff: 7
- Typical Schedule: Days, Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 9:00 pm; Saturday and Sunday, 8:30 am to 9:00 pm, minimum 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Registered EEG Technologist certification, neonatal/pediatric experience, inpatient hospital experience, Cerner Powerchart electronic medical record proficiency, 4+ years of inpatient hospital experience, and the ability to work flexible shifts.
- Additional Information: Candidates should be team players and self-starters. Float rotation may be required.
