Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered position in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This role involves providing respiratory therapy services to patients of all ages, primarily adults with neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) experience. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of work.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, rotating schedule, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: 36 months of current respiratory therapy experience in a hospital setting; EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) experience; active NBRC (National Board for Respiratory Care) certification; Iowa Respiratory license preferred; Certifications including BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program).
• Preferred Qualifications: NICU experience within the last 18 months; Level III or Level IV NICU experience within the past 15 months; equipment experience with Drager Ventilator, jet ventilator, and oscillator ventilator; ability to float across different units throughout the hospital.
• Additional Information: Local radius rule of 50 miles with a 10% reduction to bill rate; no first-time travelers; candidates must have completed a travel assignment within the past 15 months; highly preferred Iowa Respiratory license with a quick turnaround time; all certifications must be active; submission requires professional references from within the past 24 months.
