Description
Job Summary:
The location is in Statesboro, Georgia. This is a Radiology profession for a CT Technologist specializing in computed tomography procedures. The role involves performing routine diagnostic CT scans and related responsibilities, following departmental protocols to support inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patients. Candidates must bring their licensed credentials on the first day of work.
Job Details:
- Specialty: CT Technologist
- Schedule: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts, Tuesday through Thursday, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: States licensed as a general radiographer; certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT R); Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; a minimum of 0 years of experience; must have graduated from an accredited American Medical Association (AMA) school; and eligibility to work in Georgia without restrictions.
- Preferred Qualifications: ARRT (Computed Tomography) certification and experience with Cerner or Change Healthcare PACs are preferred but not required.
- Additional Information:
- Responsibilities include performing CT scans of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures.
- Knowledge of CT system processing, surgical/sterile procedures, and studies with or without contrast media is preferred.
- Proficiency at routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures and cross-sectional anatomy is required.
- No floating is required; no call required.
- The position may involve working on one major and one minor holiday.
- This is a fixed vacancy with no guarantee for 48-hour shifts.
- Equipment sterility and patient safety are priorities.
- EMR system used is Cerner.
- Scrub color is Hunter Green.
- No RTO (Requested Time Off) restrictions as long as FTE and weekend requirements are met.
