Job Summary

The Washington, District of Columbia area is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) scanners. The role involves ensuring efficient patient flow, operating all CT imaging equipment, and adhering to physician orders. Candidates are required to bring their licensure on the first day of employment.

Job Details

Location: Washington, District of Columbia
Responsibilities: Operates all CT scanners located in the main imaging department to perform diagnostic exams according to physician orders; ensures smooth patient throughput.
Required Qualifications: Completion of high school, GED, or college-level education; current certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Computed Tomography (CT); CPR certification; ability to start IVs; experience of at least 2 years in a similar role.
Schedule: Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Additional Information: Previous employment with any Johns Hopkins health system facility must be noted in the work history and coversheet for verification; candidates with prior employment must be off for at least one year to qualify as a traveler.
