Job Summary:
The Radiation Therapist position is located in Santa Cruz, California. This role involves performing routine and specialized radiation treatments in accordance with treatment plans developed by physicians. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position emphasizes independent work, clinical skill development, patient assessment, safety adherence, and effective communication to deliver precise treatments.

- Required Qualifications: Valid State License; ARRT Certification; ATLS Certification (if applicable); 2 years of experience in radiation therapy; experience with Elekta Infinity, External Beam Therapy, IMRT - Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy, Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS), Respiratory Gating, Prostate Cancer with Seeds/Fiducials, Radiation Safety, Benign Brain Tumors, Vision RT, Heterotopic Bone; familiarity with Epic charting system; must have a valid COVID-19 and flu vaccination; background check for any hits or DUIs; 7-year work history verification; willingness to attend training modules recorded through e-learning.
- Preferred Qualifications: Epic experience highly preferred.
- Additional Information: Only one holiday will be approved during the assignment. Candidates must be available to undergo lab work within 3-5 days of signing and confirm they have a valid State License and necessary certifications in hand at submission.
