Description

Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist position available in Arlington, Texas. This role involves supporting interventional cardiac, structural heart, neuro, and peripheral vascular procedures within a busy interventional unit. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

Location: Arlington, Texas
Schedule: Days shift, 40 hours per week, with shift hours of 10 hours each
Required Qualifications: Certified as a Cardiovascular Technologist or equivalent, with Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications. Candidates must have valid certification, education, and zero years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Cath lab experience and IR/Special Procedures experience are highly preferred.
Additional Information:
- Unit type: Interventional Cardiac, Structural Heart, Interventional Neuro, Peripheral Vascular
- Patient Ratios: 1:1 for procedures, 3:1 for holding
- Number of Staff: 16 (including managers, supervisors, registered nurses, and cardiovascular technicians)
- Typical staffing: Day shift with managerial and supervisory staff, combined RN and CVT team; Night shift with full call team capability 24/7 to provide two call teams at all times
- Type of staff: Day shift manager, supervisor, combined 15 RNs and CVTs; Night shift call team
- EMR System: Meditech and MacLab
- Dress Code: Scrub attire provided by the hospital
- Unit policies and guidelines are available for review
