Job Summary:
Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist position in Houston, Texas. This role involves working in a Cath Lab unit with a focus on procedures such as electrophysiology (EP), structural heart, and coronary interventions. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment. The position starts on June 29, 2026, and requires a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Job Details:
- Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Education/Experience: No minimum experience required; suitable for candidates at entry level (0 years experience)
- Location: Houston, Texas
- Schedule: Day shift, 4 ten-hour shifts Monday through Friday, from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. After-hours and weekends are on a rotational call basis.
- Preferred Qualifications: Cath lab experience, experience with electrophysiology (EP), structural heart procedures, and coronary interventions.
- Additional Information: The unit typically has 120 beds, with 3-4 staff per room. Candidates should be self-motivated and team-focused. The role involves working in a unit that utilizes GE, Philips, and Siemens EMR systems (Merge).
- Float: Float rotation may be required in the Cath Lab pre- and post-procedure areas.
- Dress Code: Scrubs in royal blue.
- On-Call: Rotational call with existing staff, including weekends.
- Unit Policies: Candidates are encouraged to review unit policies and guidelines.
