Description

Job Summary:
A radiologic technologist specializing in computed tomography (CT) scans is needed in Phoenix, Arizona. This position involves working in an inpatient and emergency room setting, primarily performing routine and specialized CT examinations. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day and must meet the specified qualification requirements.

Job Details:

  • Location: Phoenix, Arizona
  • Schedule: Sunday to Tuesday, 6:00 am to 6:30 pm, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: ARRT (R) (CT) certification, MRTBE CRT, BLS certification, minimum of 2 years of experience, Arizona license to submit
  • Additional Information: Weekend work may be required depending on schedule (not every weekend). Scrub color is teal. No call requirements.
  • Certifications: ARRT (R) (CT), BLS Certification
  • Experience: GE Scanner experience required; Philips experience preferred.
  • Technical Environment: EMR Cerner, PACS DR systems.
  • Unit Environment: Inpatient/ER departments with two ER CT scanners and three in radiology.
  • Patient Cases: Routine CT exams, CTA with perfusion, trauma-related cases.
  • Other Notes: Fast-paced environment with assistance from other CT technologists in the same work area. GE experience is required and Philips is preferred.
  • Cancellation Policy: The hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, or 3 shifts for shorter assignments.
  • Charting System: Cerner.
  • Floor Orientation: At least 1 week with 1/1 orientation.
