Description

Job Summary:
The CT Technologist position is located in Marietta, Georgia. This role involves performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures with a focus on patient safety and comfort. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position offers daytime shifts on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Job Details:

  • Position: CT Technologist
  • Location: Marietta, Georgia
  • Schedule: Days, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (36 hours per week)
  • Required Qualifications: Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved School of Radiology Technology, ARRT Radiography, ARRT Computed Tomography, Basic Life Support (BLS), BLS Instructor or Provisional Certification, minimum 1 year experience in Radiology, less than 1 year experience in CT
  • Preferred Qualifications: Not specified
  • Additional Information: Must exhibit excellent communication skills, ability to function independently and under pressure, demonstrate excellent customer service skills, prioritize appropriately, and be detail-oriented. Candidate should be competent in all aspects of CT, patient positioning, exposure factors, and radiation protection. Experience in performing Quality Control tests and working with PACS is desirable.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Skills and Abilities: Ability to explain procedures clearly, communicate effectively with patients and staff, maintain patient dignity, and operate all work stations associated with the CT department.
  • Clinical and operational responsibilities: Includes verifying orders, assessing patient conditions, administering contrast media, preparing patients, maintaining equipment, and supporting department operations.
