Description
Job Summary:
A Radiology Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography (CT) located in Roswell, Georgia. This position involves performing all aspects of CT imaging with a focus on quality control, patient positioning, and radiation safety. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day to meet certification and licensing requirements.
Job Details:
- Location: Roswell, Georgia
- Schedule: Day shift, Friday through Sunday, 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications:
- Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), BLS (Basic Life Support) or equivalent certifications such as ARC-BLS or BLS-Instructor
- Education & Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in Radiology and less than 1 year of experience in CT
- Licenses: All certifications required upon hire
- Skills: Excellent communication, ability to function independently and under pressure, excellent customer service, detail-oriented, capable of multitasking, and professional interaction with diverse customers
- Knowledge: Competent in all aspects of CT, patient positioning, exposure factors, radiation protection, understanding of anatomy and pathology, ability to perform Quality Control tests as per ACR (American College of Radiology) standards and manufacturer recommendations
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to explain procedures clearly and give directions to patients
- Demonstrates strong teamwork and compliance with hospital policies
- Additional Information:
- No call required during the scheduled shift
