Job Summary:
Radiology Technician specializing in Computed Tomography (CT) at a healthcare organization in Austell, Georgia. This role involves performing CT imaging procedures while maintaining high standards of patient care, technical accuracy, and safety. The technician will work closely with clinical staff to ensure accurate diagnosis and optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shift, Monday through Wednesday, 7:00 am to 7:30 pm, totaling 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated. ARRT-R (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Radiography), ARRT-CT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Computed Tomography), BLS (Basic Life Support or American Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-Instructor). Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology. Less than 1 year experience in CT preferred.

• Additional Information: The position requires excellent communication skills for frequent verbal and written interactions with physicians, patients, visitors, and staff. Candidate must be able to function independently and under pressure, exhibit exceptional customer service skills, and effectively multitask in a fast-paced environment. Competency in all aspects of CT, including patient positioning, exposure factors, and radiation safety, is essential. Knowledge of anatomy, pathology, and quality control procedures is also required.
