Job Summary
The position of CT Technologist is located in Marietta, Georgia. This role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures with a focus on radiation safety, patient care, and operational efficiency. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position operates on day shifts, specifically Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Job Details
- Schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM; minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved School of Radiology Technology; minimum one year experience in Radiology; current ARRT Radiography certification; ARRT Computed Tomography certification; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; BLS instructor or provisional certification; license must be brought on the first day.
- Preferred Qualifications: Less than one year experience specifically in computed tomography (CT).
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: This role requires the ability to function independently and under pressure, with excellent communication and customer service skills. The technologist must be competent in all aspects of computed tomography, including patient positioning, exposure factors, radiation safety, and quality control testing. Responsibilities include operating imaging equipment safely, maintaining department standards, preparing and explaining procedures to patients, and ensuring proper documentation and image quality. The role involves patient transport, positioning, clerical tasks, and teamwork to meet operational needs.
