Description

Job Summary:
The role is for a CT Technologist at a healthcare facility located in Alexandria, Virginia. Candidates are required to bring their active Virginia state license on the first day of assignment. The position involves working on a Siemens computed tomography (CT) unit, performing routine and stat exams with a focus on common studies such as head, abdomen, pelvis, angio, and extremities.

Job Details:

Shift: 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday through Friday
Hours per Day: 8
Minimum Hours Per Week: 40
Required Qualifications: Certifications include American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) and American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) - CT, with an active Virginia state license at submission. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system, PACS Visage, and Siemens CT equipment is preferred.
Additional Information: Floor orientation is limited to a maximum of one week. The primary location is the primary hospital area, but coverage of all hospital areas is required, with orientation specifics provided. Travel to other locations may be scheduled as needed. The facility supports a flexible work approach, with PRN availability for weekend, float, and holiday coverage as scheduled.
Notes: Strong IV skills are essential, with a preferred scrub color of black. The department operates 24/7 pharmacy coverage, but the role does not require on-call duties. Epic access is needed for documentation.
