A Radiology Technologist position is available in Reston, Virginia. The role involves operating advanced imaging equipment within a radiology unit at an acute care hospital. Job Details
- Location: Reston, Virginia
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT); BLS for Healthcare Workers; at least 2 years of experience performing CT studies independently; acute care hospital experience preferred
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with GE Lightspeed and Optima 64 (3) and 16 (1) equipment; familiarity with GE PACS and Meditech EMR system; proficiency in procedures including CTA, head, neck, chest, and angio
- Additional Information: The role may involve floating to an outpatient center on campus; candidates must adhere to the hospital's dress code, which includes black scrubs or a black or white long shirt under scrubs.
- Responsibilities include operating full range of imaging procedures with a focus on patient acknowledgment, introduction, explanation of procedures, and expressing gratitude per AIDET protocol
