Description
Job Summary:
The Baltimore, Maryland-based Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist position involves assisting physicians with a variety of cardiology-related diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. The role requires performing duties in the Cath Lab, Stress Lab, and Nuclear Stress Lab, functioning in multiple capacities such as radiology technologist, stress lab assistant, and nuclear stress lab assistant. Candidates must bring their Maryland licensed Radiologic Technologist license on the first day. This position requires a minimum of two years of relevant experience.
Job Details:
- Address: Baltimore, MD
- Schedule: 10 hours per day, shift hours from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week; on-call is required.
- Required Qualifications: Completion of two years of occupationally specific education or an Associates degree in radiologic technology or a closely related field; active Maryland licensed Radiologic Technologist license or RCIS certification in lieu of Maryland license; ARRT(R) registration; BLS and ACLS certifications; minimum of two years of experience in a Cath Lab setting; skill with Pacemakers, peripheral devices, Impella, and IABP preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience with Pacemakers, Impella, and IABP is preferred.
- Additional Information: Prior employment with any Johns Hopkins system facility must be noted on the coversheet and in the work history, with candidates required to have been gone for at least one full year before applying if previously employed in any capacity within Johns Hopkins facilities.
