Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) - Columbus, Ohio. This 13-week assignment requires candidates to deliver comprehensive respiratory care, including operating ventilatory equipment, performing pulmonary procedures, and monitoring patient responses. Candidates must bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Columbus, Ohio
• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per day, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid respiratory therapy license; experience providing routine respiratory procedures including ventilatory support, chest physiotherapy, suctioning, pulmonary function studies, airway management, and emergency response techniques.
• Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric respiratory care experience preferred.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The respiratory therapist will evaluate patients and develop treatment plans, explain procedures to patients, assist with procedures such as bronchoscopy, chest tube placement, and perform tracheostomy care, arterial puncture, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation following BLS and ACLS guidelines. They will operate and maintain ventilatory equipment, monitor patient responses, document treatments accurately, communicate with physicians, and provide shift handoff reports.
