Description

Job Summary:
The position of Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Technologist is located in Saint Louis, Missouri. This role involves working in the cardiac catheterization laboratory performing diagnostic and interventional procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

Schedule: 5x8s days, Monday through Friday, 8-hour days, with call every 4th weekend and one day during the week.
Required Qualifications: Certification in Missouri or compact license (no issuance if tied to another compact state), ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) certification, BLS (Basic Life Support), CCI (Cardiac Catheterization Interventional) RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Intervention Specialist) certification, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, minimum of 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience as a scrub tech, and travel experience is required.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with angioplasty, ASD closures, cardiac stent placement, carotid stenting, electrophysiology lab procedures, embolization, fluoroscopy, IABP, Impella, IVC filter placement, pacemaker insertion, PCI, PTCA, PPI, right and left heart catheterization, and use of Siemens equipment.
Additional Information: This role involves performing a variety of complex cardiac procedures including angioplasty, stent placement, carotid stenting, EP lab procedures, embolization, device insertions, and vascular access. The technician will serve as a scrub tech maintaining sterile technique and assisting in interventional procedures. Candidates must have at least 3 years of Cardiac Cath Lab scrub tech experience.
