Description

Job Summary:
The Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area is seeking a Technologist specializing in General Ultrasonography. This position involves performing and assisting with various ultrasound procedures following established protocols by radiologists. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent, graduate of a 2-year American Medical Association (AMA) approved Ultrasound program, and valid Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer license.
Preferred Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Additional Information: Performs and/or assists with various types of ultrasound procedures, prepares and maintains equipment, checks patient preparation, and operates ultrasound equipment.
