Job Summary:
The Respiratory Therapist (RT) specializing in Pediatrics is based in Lima, Ohio. This role involves providing specialized respiratory care to pediatric patients in accordance with established protocols and department policies. The candidate must bring their Ohio Respiratory Therapy license on the first day of employment, along with certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT).

Job Details:

• Location: Lima, Ohio
• Shift Time: Nights (12-hour shifts)
• Schedule: 36 hours per week minimum
• Required Qualifications: Ohio Respiratory Therapy license; NBRC RRT or CRT certification; ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association; zero years of experience needed; valid Ohio license; certifications must be attached to the submission; candidate must bring license on first day.
• Additional Information:
  • Must follow protocols approved by medical staff and department policies to deliver diagnostic and therapeutic services to pediatric patients.
  • Responsibilities include assisting physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures, ventilator management, blood gas analysis, pulmonary function studies, and arterial line insertion.
  • Candidate must adhere to the facility's clinical and operational standards.
  • The position is a contractor replacement, with one opening available.
